Bumper strip or shaped sticker?
Bumper stickers are rectangular strips, best for a message and a phone number. Choose one of three sizes from 188×94mm to 375×94mm.
For a shaped sticker like a logo on a rear window, choose die-cut stickers in 125mm or 150mm. Both are printed on outdoor vinyl with a gloss laminate.
Designing a car sticker that works
People see your sticker for a few seconds, often from a few car lengths back. Use big, bold text, strong contrast, and one clear message. A business name, what you do and a phone number is plenty. Our designers keep this in mind when they lay out your sticker.
Looking after your stickers
Apply to clean, dry paint or glass in the shade, smoothing from one end to the other. Avoid high-pressure washing right at the edges. Expect about 2 years of life outdoors.
Questions
Can I put a sticker on a tinted window?
Stickers go on the outside of the glass, so the tint isn’t affected. Check your state’s rules on stickers blocking the driver’s view before putting one on a rear window.
Will it come off in the car wash?
A well-applied sticker handles normal car washes. High-pressure jets aimed right at the edges can lift it over time.
What size bumper sticker should I get?
288×75mm is the classic bumper strip. Go 375×94mm if it needs to be read from further away, or 188×94mm for a smaller rear window or toolbox.
